Product Update · September – October 2026
September and October brought major VR improvements, a new bundled patient, British English support for Spark & SimVox, and more — including the official launch of Spark for NCLEX.
Stay close, move less
The seated VR experience now keeps the player within arm’s reach of the patient at all times — no more awkward reaching or repositioning. Tools can be picked up and released remotely, and you can now point and shoot at tools to grab them, then operate them with either the trigger or grip button.
General improvements
Several additional bugs across the VR experience have been fixed to support smoother, more reliable interactions overall.
Meet Joel — a 14-year-old male patient with a hidden disorder scenario. Joel expands the bundled patient library with an adolescent case, designed to challenge learners’ clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Spark & SimVox now includes an en-GB language package alongside US English, making it easier to deliver experiences tailored to British English-speaking learners and institutions.
Dental scenes are now available as a custom build option, expanding simulation into a new clinical setting. A hispanic female avatar in the clinic setting has also been added to the avatar library.
Spark for NCLEX is a purpose-built simulation experience designed to help nursing students build the clinical judgment skills the Next Generation NCLEX demands. It was formally announced on September 22, 2026 at the NLN Education Summit 2026. Learn more about Spark for NCLEX →
Issues involving empty intents and timeouts during transcript generation have been resolved, improving the reliability and consistency of transcription across sessions.
