Product Update · June 2026
This month’s update brings expanded hardware compatibility, a brand-new avatar, and key reliability improvements across the platform.
A series of targeted improvements to deliver a more consistent simulation experience across your equipment.
A new setting allows SimVOX to prompt learners for their name when starting a session from the default learner account. The name is saved with the session record and is fully searchable in the archive and GPR — making it easier to track individual learner activity without requiring separate logins.
The Polish-language interface has been fully re-translated with improved accuracy and natural phrasing, making the platform more accessible and intuitive for Polish-speaking users.
Infrastructure upgrades now support a significantly higher number of simultaneous users accessing British English AI voices — so large cohorts and busy simulation days won’t impact voice quality or availability.
Instructors can now enable or disable patient monitor alarms directly from the Patient Editor under Advanced view → Vitals. This gives facilitators more precise control over the auditory environment during simulations — useful for scenarios where alarm fatigue or silence is part of the learning objective.
When sharing a simulator, you can now manage credit reviewer permissions per user — simply click a user’s email to toggle their credit-reviewer status. To remove credit review entirely from an assignment, uncheck all sim and assignment owners, and make sure to disable top-level owners too since their role cascades down to sub-simulations.
A clickjacking vulnerability has been resolved, strengthening the platform’s defenses against attempts to trick users into unintended interactions with the interface.
Meet Maya
Maya is a 28-year-old patient at 38 weeks gestation. She brings obstetric simulation scenarios to life with realistic contraction animations, supporting learners in preparing for late-term pregnancy care and labor management.
